About Me
THE FOUNDER. FROM FIRE TO FUTURE
As a Burn Survivor, I spent 50 days in the hospital rehabilitating and moving through intensive surgeries and physical therapy to regain my strength. I questioned y worth, my abilities, and my frame of thought. It was a battle. One that I am still on. The road to recovery winds. My goal is to learn how to navigate and look at life a little differently. And along the way, in doing so, I found a light.
AN OPPORTUNITY FOR UNION
A chance to connect, and see past challenges life has brought us. Commodore Val Jones is a commitment to choosing scarred over scared. There is no reason in living in fear over battle scars. All survivors, of cancer, abuse, toxic relationships, and household, all survivors are resilient.
HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE
It is not always an easy one. But it is a choice. We decide how we play the cards we have been dealt. How we will triumph in the face of adversity. And How we will make each and every day ours for the rest of our lives.
